Oh, and...
Oh, and he's walking! Took off Saturday night, October 7, one day shy of his eleventh month birthday. We were at the Maracá Ecological research station, sitting around the common room, when he started putting more than two or three steps together. He's delighted with himself!

Hey John!! I just checked out the pictures of your new casinha... very cute! I love the bathroom... the colors and the glass blocks are great! How long are you going to be in Brazil? I'm guessing for quite a while since you guys built a house and everything! Btw, Joao is getting really huge! He's adorable... I love the picture of him on top of the turtle... definitely one for show and tell. Hope everything is well over there!
